Product Information
The Alpha® ESC-150/ESC-250 Electric Wet/Dry Stone Cutter is a portable 6" cutter for granite, quartz surfaces, marble, limestone, concrete, and sintered or porcelain slabs. Its 1200W motor runs at 10,000 RPM and provides up to a 2" cutting depth, allowing 1-1/4" (3cm) stone slabs to be cut in a single pass.
The cutter handles miter cuts in material up to 1-1/4" (3cm) thick without requiring an extensive cutting setup. It can also be used for sink-hole cutting and groove cutting for rodding applications. An available carriage assembly connects the cutter to the Alpha Guide Rail System for controlled, precise miter cuts used in laminated edge fabrication.
A 15 ft kink-free water hose supports wet cutting while improving maneuverability and reducing hose resistance during operation. For dry cutting, the built-in dust gate can be connected to a HEPA vacuum for dust collection at the cutter.
The 7/8" arbor accepts 6" cutting discs and supports different consumables based on the material and application. Compatible options include the Alpha Katana 6" for porcelain panels and slabs and Hot-Rod 4" for groove cutting used with 1/4" steel rods and 1/8" fiberglass rods. For marble applications, Alpha recommends a Libero 5" blade for slabs that are typically 3/4" (2cm) thick or less.
