The wedi Recessed Shower Niche is a shower niche manufactured from 1/2" wedi Building Panels for recessed installation in tiled shower wall assemblies.
The niche installs flush with wedi wall panels and is secured using wedi fasteners and joint sealant. Once installed, tile can be applied directly to the surface using standard thinset mortars without additional surface waterproofing layers.
This tile shower niche is intended to provide recessed storage within shower wall cavities while maintaining the continuity of the waterproof wall assembly. Select models include shelves that can be positioned as required to divide the interior storage space.
