The Warmup® Foil Heater System is an electric underfloor heating mat designed for use beneath laminate, engineered wood, and other floating floor finishes. The foil heater installs between the insulation layer and the floating floor deck, adding minimal height to the overall floor build-up.
The system consists of a fibre-reinforced foil layer wrapped around a thin, multi-strand dual-core heating cable insulated with advanced fluoropolymer. The foil layer provides a continuous earth path within the floor construction while distributing heat evenly across the surface.
For glued parquet flooring, carpets, vinyl, and other resilient finishes, the Warmup Foil Heater can be used in conjunction with the Dual Overlay system to form a thin floating floor deck. Floating floor finishes installed over the system can be lifted and replaced during future refurbishments without removing the heating element.
