The wedi® Pipe Seal is designed to waterproof shower head pipe protrusions in tiled shower and steam room installations. It creates a tight seal around plumbing penetrations to help prevent moisture intrusion through wall assemblies.
The seal is sized for use around 1/2 in. to 3/4 in. shower pipe protrusions and is compatible with wedi® Subliner Dry and wedi® Vapor 85 systems. In steam room installations, wedi® Sealant 620 is required. When installed in wedi® Fundo shower assemblies or over wedi® Building Panels, regular wedi® Joint Sealant may be used.
