wedi® Sanoasa Shower Benches are prefabricated seating elements designed for tiled shower installations using wedi building systems. The benches are constructed from wedi XPS foam and are 100% waterproof and vapor-retardant, allowing flexible placement and configuration without additional framework.
Sanoasa benches are pre-sloped to support water runoff toward the shower drain and are installed using wedi® Joint Sealant at wall and floor connections. When installed over a wedi shower base and system, reinforced seams do not require additional waterproofing.

Sanoasa Benches 1–3
Sanoasa Benches 1–3 are floor-mounted designs intended for smaller shower spaces and retrofit or new construction applications. Each bench consists of two components: a seat/top and a bench support. The benches can be installed with the seat aligned flush to the support or with an overhanging front edge.
These models are available with different front and top edge profiles, including straight, rounded, and slanted finishes. wedi® Joint Sealant is included, with optional accessories available for project-specific conditions.
Sanoasa Bench 4
Sanoasa Bench 4 is a suspended, wall-mounted bench designed to create additional open space within the shower while providing integrated seating. The bench is pre-sloped and can support loads up to 500 lbs once tiled.
Bench 4 can be cut to length and installed between three shower walls. It is intended for installation prior to tiling but may also be installed over existing tile. When installing over tiled walls, fastener penetrations may affect existing waterproofing and should be evaluated during project planning. Tile used on Bench 4 should be a minimum of 4" in size and at least 1/4" thick.
