Alpha Tools Ecoguard W Series Kits are designed specifically for applications that include the use of wider blades. The Ecoguard W Series Kits must be used with a vacuum or other dust collection systems for correct and successful outcomes. Ecoguard W Series Kits are used to successfully collect the dust and larger particles derived from using wider kerf diamond blades such as tuck pointing or crack chasing blades. Alpha Tools Ecoguard W Series Kits offer three unique features, first is the ability to easily adjust the cutting depth by using a simple wing nut operation. The second feature is the nose guide that indicates the cut line and the third is the ability to view inside the cover, while cutting, due to the clear polycarbonate material construction. Additional connectors have been added to accommodate even more grinders. The Ecoguard W9 extends the range to larger sizes covering up to 9” blades. It fits most 7” & 9” angle grinders and must be used with a vacuum, or other dust collection system. The Ecoguard W9 Kit includes some unique features including a new multi-adapter system for easy installation, has a front brush to contain dust when plunge cutting, and it has support bars and wheels which reduce the surface friction. The maximum cutting depth is 2-3/8” which enables cutting through most materials.
