Better than “acceptable alternatives”

My local stores that I bought the goboard sheets from did not have any of the goboard brand sealant, so I bought 2 tubes of sealant that was on the manufacturers “acceptable alternatives” list and ordered 2 of these for the connection point from the boards to the tub. As I used the other 2 first I assumed all the sealant was just super thick and tricky to work with but this sealant was wayyyy easier to apply, spread and use in general. I recommended to an acquaintance doing a similar project to go straight to the actual brand instead of using substitutes.
